Currently manage a team of six Verizon outside sales reps. We are responsible for an important part of the sales strategy. Our Goal consists of understanding the market and help the customers understand why they need our services. We again set appointments for the outside reps at Verizon by qualifying leads for them and setting the time and date for these to take place.
I was a hired liaison for the Microsoft Field team in the Northern California and San Francisco bay area. I manage a team that is a partnership between the Microsoft field team and one of the Microsoft Gold certified partners (PCSNetworks) in the Bay area. I an responsible for an very important part of the sales process by doing solution sales for Microsoft and PCSN by identifying opportunity for software sales and consulting needs. Then bringing PCSN in for face-to-face follow up meetings that turns into sales. This had made me an expert on Microsoft licensing and solution sales for certified companies. I have to hit goals for how many dials I make, how many people I contact in a day, and how many face-to-face meetings I set up on the PCSN calendar. I strive to meet these goals and enjoy studying and learning new ways to be a good sales man for the technology business. I now have extensive knowledge of the diverse markets and know all types of technologies that can help them excel.
